by Joan Bauer
(Viking Books for Young Readers, 2016)

Twelve-year-old Jeremiah loves baseball but can’t play because of his heart transplant. Still will he be able to save baseball in his new hometown?

Our Young Reviewer says:

I liked this book because it is about baseball, one of my favorite subjects, and how it really helped a kid through tough times. Jeremiah is too sick to play himself, but he helps coach a middle school team.

– Dante, 12, East Hampton, NY
