Rita Williams-Garcia is the 2011 Newbery Honor author, 2011 Coretta Scott King Author Award winner, 2011 Scott O’Dell Award winner and 2010 National Book Award finalist for her book One Crazy Summer. Her last book in the trilogy, Gone Crazy in Alabama, comes out this spring.
