From a Young Reviewer:
The book gives you information about how to explore nature. We liked that the book was divided into seasons which helps us know the best time to go into the field to study the animals. We liked that a nature photographer showed beautiful close-ups of each species and children studying them. We learned that children join citizen groups to help scientists discover more about each species. After reading this book we wanted to go into the outdoors to study nature with our father and mother. Our mother is a naturalist and a biology high school teacher so she can help us.
